VueScape is a Windows software package that can be used to host and view the digital data sold by the Office. The software is provided as is, without warranty to customers who purchase aerial data or shapefiles and is intended to empower taxpayers with the GIS data built by the Property Appraiser's Office. VueScape can not edit the files, but it can make graphic markups on its viewing pane, specifically with reference to various coordinate systems. It can also extract photo data and save it with world files for use in other programs. System requirements are Windows XP SP2 or greater and Windows Framework 3.5 (an installer for 3.5 is included on the distribution media).

• Routinely handles JPG, TIF, BMP with worldfiles

• Permits display management of shapefile attributes including labels and transparency
• Exports view frame with worldfiles as a new image

• Computes Geographic coordinates and USNG coordinates simultaneously based upon SPCS coordinate values
• Permits point labeling with the above coordinate values using double-clicks
• Provides a coordinate lookup utility which converts between any of the three supported coordinate systems
• Centers map on coordinates as desired
• Measures foot distance between points in the view frame
• Parses the URL strings from the B.P.A.O. Scanned Image Facility for direct loading of images from the IntrAnet  **

**  This feature is only designed for use within the Brevard County Property Appraiser's Office, however, you may load any image from the internet provided the linkage to the data is direct by filename.  For example http://brevardpropertyappraiser.com/images/Jim1.jpg could be loaded directly into VueScape.
